The process of researching Marilyn Monroe is interesting to me. What did you find about her? Is there anything else to find? What did you take from your research?
Megan Hilty: What I’ve found most interesting was how deeply alone she felt. There’s a new book that came out called Fragments filled with her personal poetry, and it is devastating. For someone who was adored and still is universally, and to have so much love thrown at her, for her to feel so isolated and alone and unloved throughout all of it is tragic.
I can’t wait for SMASH omg. I miss this show :(
